We evaluate your website, web app, or mobile application against WCAG 2.2 Level AA — the global standard referenced by ADA, Section 508, and the European Accessibility Act. Our audits combine automated scanning with manual expert testing using screen readers, keyboard navigation, and assistive technologies to identify barriers that tools alone cannot catch.
Automated scanners detect roughly 30–40% of accessibility issues. The rest — broken focus order, unclear error messages, inaccessible dynamic components, illogical screen reader announcements — require human judgment. That is why every Alpina Tech audit includes hands-on evaluation by accessibility specialists who test your product the way real users with disabilities experience it.
What You Get
A structured audit report with every issue documented: specific WCAG 2.2 success criterion, severity level (critical, high, medium, low), screenshot or recording, affected page or component, and a code-level fix recommendation. Beyond the issue list, you receive a prioritized remediation roadmap organized by user impact and development effort — ready for sprint planning.
How We Test
Automated scans with axe-core, Lighthouse, Pa11y, and WAVE establish a baseline. Manual testing follows across real user flows — login, checkout, forms, search, content browsing — using NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, and TalkBack paired with Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. We verify keyboard-only navigation, focus management, contrast at multiple zoom levels, and touch target sizing.
Standards We Cover
WCAG 2.2 and 2.1 Level AA, ADA Title II and III, Section 508, European Accessibility Act (EAA), and EN 301 549.
Optional Deliverables
VPAT/ACR documentation for enterprise procurement and government contracts. Accessibility statement for your website. Post-remediation re-testing to verify all fixes are correctly implemented. Team walkthrough session to review findings and plan the fix cycle.
